ADMISSION FOR CHILDREN AGED 12 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS

Our under 2s area is equipped with Montessori resources as well as educational toys for the younger age group.

A highly professional team of early years teachers provide high standards of Montessori care and education with the ratio of 1 teacher to 3 children. Our baby area can accommodate up to 15 children at a time and usually we are fully booked a year in advance, so early booking is strongly advised, however occasionally we are able to accommodate last minute bookings, so do enquire with our Head Office for up to date availability. 

Due to higher staff:pupil ratios and staffing requirements, bookings for under 2 year olds are only available as full days with a minimum booking of 2 days 9-6pm, all year round. There are no term time places available in the under 2s area. 7.45am (including breakfast) and 8.30am start times are also available, please contact us for a quote.

Fees for under 2 year olds include all food - lunch, dinner and snacks during the day, and breakfast for children starting at 7.45am.

15 HOURS WORKING PARENTS FUNDING FOR UNDER 2 YEAR OLDS

From Autumn Term 2024 the Government are expanding the 15 hour childcare support to working parents of children aged 9 months and above, therefore Dulwich Oaks Montessori will be expanding the provision of the funded sessions to include eligible 1 year olds.
The 15 hours funding is provided by the government for term time attendance (38 weeks) and at Dulwich Oaks Montessori this funding is stretched to cover all year round attendance, so your child will receive 11.18 free hours per week over 51 weeks per year.
Minimum booking for all under 2 year olds is 2 days 9-6pm (funded and unfunded places). The fees shown are for the additional hours over 11.18 hours per week and additional provision (including meals, snacks, extra-curricular activities and other extras).
